Emerald Traditionally thought to have come from the nests of Griffins (magical beasts), Emeralds are thought to be good for improving memory, intelligence and understanding. Green is the colour of prosperity, so emeralds were thought to bring increased wealth to the owner.
Gold Loved and valued by most civilizations in history, Gold represents the pure and incorruptible spirit.
